With summer approaching, I’m feeling inspired and excited. We were lucky enough to be a part of a Bachelorette Cocktail Class party last fall, and one of the cocktails we offered was The Garden Party. There are many different variations of this drink. It is one of my favorite ways to combine a few different unique liqueurs, all while tasting each one individually within the cocktail itself. Below I share the spirits as well as the full recipe.

The Block Summer Gin - Bold citrus, refreshing, bright. Notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, and hibiscus make this citrus explosion a true gin and tonic masterpiece. It starts incredibly sweet on the tongue but all of that fruit peel makes it finish nice and dry.
Cocchi Americano is an Aperitif wine that comes from the Piedmont region in Italy. It’s bitter yet sweet, floral, and bold in its flavor. White wine is fortified with alcohol and then macerated with botanicals such as rhubarb, orange peel, juniper, & rose to create this. Americano itself means bittered. Keep it refrigerated after opening to keep the botanicals fresh, and toss it after a couple of weeks. Pair Cocchi with some bubbles and an orange peel for a refreshing and light cocktail.
St Germain Elderflower Liqueur
One of my faves! This French aperitif is made with wild elderflower. Each bottle is said to contain over 1000 elderflowers. The flavor profile is honeysuckle - a sweet, floral flavor. Since this is cordial, it is typically quite sweet and needs to be paired with drier ingredients for balance. Some fruits you might notice are pear and citrus. St Germain is elegant and typically pairs well with Prosecco and lemon.
Italicus Bergamot Liqueur
Hailing from a small town outside Turin, Italy, this unique aperitif is light with hints of lavender and rose. The bergamot comes through with a somewhat bitter and floral complexity. Pair this with tequila, lime, and agave for a spin on a margarita. The aperitivo occasion is rooted in the Italian Dolce Vita way of life and the importance of connecting friends and family.
You might be wondering how much of each of these ingredients you use to make one cocktail. Here are the specs for The Garden Party. Your guests will be asking you how you made it and complimenting you on your skills!

.5 oz Cocchi Americano
.5 oz Combier Peche
.5 oz St. Germain Elderflower
.5 oz Italicus
